Property developer branding, visual identity & website design

Augustus Land is a young, independently owned commercial and residential property development company. We were commissioned by Director Darren Reiss (son of David Reiss – founder of the Reiss fashion label) to create an understated, luxury logo, brand identity and website.

Following a light strategy exercise to more clearly define the business, we created a classic, typographic logo prior to developing the branding suite. The image-led design style of the fully mobile responsive website reinforces their professionalism and presents a confident, bold image. As a young company with a shortage of professionally photographed projects under their belt we used detailed, abstract shots of luxury property features and stunning architectural imagery to reflect the upmarket nature of the business.

Simple, typographic logos often fall a little short and are in danger of looking a little uninspiring when put onto paper. This challenges us as designers to think really carefully in terms of print and production techniques, a challenge we relish!

The print quality for the company stationery was very carefully considered to convey just the right professional image. With all foiled details executed on GF Smith Colorplan paper with a Silkweave emboss it has a great tactile quality. And obviously we want all our clients to feel as good as they look!
